Matthias Church (Hungarian: Mátyás-templom) is a Roman Catholic church located in Budapest, Hungary, in front of the Fisherman's Bastion at the heart of Buda's Castle District. According to church tradition, it was originally built in Romanesque style in 1015. The current building was constructed in the florid late Gothic style in the second half of the 14th century and was extensively restored in the late 19th century. It was the second largest church of medieval Buda and the seventh largest church of medieval Hungarian Kingdom.

The Hungarian Parliament Building (Hungarian: Országház, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈorsaːɡhaːz], which translates to House of the Country or House of the Nation) is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, one of Europe's oldest legislative buildings, a notable landmark of Hungary and a popular tourist destination of Budapest. It lies in Lajos Kossuth Square, on the bank of the Danube. It is currently the largest building in Hungary and still the tallest building in Budapest

Margaret Island  is a 2.5 km (1.6 mi) long island, 500 metres (550 yards) wide, (0.965 km² (238 acres) in area) in the middle of the Danube in central Budapest, Hungary. The island is mostly covered by landscape parks, and is a popular recreational area. Its medieval ruins are reminders of its importance in the Middle Ages as a religious centre. The island spans the area between the Margaret Bridge (south) and the Árpád Bridge (north). Before the 14th century the island was called Insula leporum (Island of Rabbits). Administratively Margaret Island used to belong to the 13th district until 2013. Now it is directly under the control of the city.

The Széchenyi Chain Bridge  is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Designed by the English engineer William Tierney Clark, it was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Hungary, and was opened in 1849.

Lego Museum  is in size and number of exhibits not only the largest in the Republic but also in Europe.

 Vytopna Restaurant at Wenceslas Square offers good food and drinks at good prices. But its unique attraction is a 400m miniature railway. This runs around the whole restaurant, and even onto the tables you sit at.

From street level on Wenceslas Square, look up and you see the exterior of Duplex, a giant glass cube overlooking the city. You can see the girls dancing in the terrace...we did not go in . Kids not allowed.

View from the Castle.The Guinness Book of Records lists Prague Castle as the largest ancient castle in the world.^[1] It occupies an area of almost 70,000 m², at about 570 meters in length and an average of about 130 meters wide.

Originally a family business, the pub was founded in 1499,^[1] and therefore celebrated its fifth centenary in 1999. It has been referred to as the oldest brewery in Prague. In 1762 the brewery was bought by Jakub Flekovský, which gave its current name : U Fleků means in Czech "At the Fleks'".^[2] After World War II the company was nationalized, and control was transferred to a board of management appointed by the state. Following the Velvet Revolution, the company was privatized.
