The eruption of Kīlauea volcano continues at two locations. In the park, the vent within Halema'uma'u Crater is easily viewed from the overlook at the Jaggar Museum. The second location is the Pu'u 'Ō'ō vent located 10 miles (16km) east of the summit, on the remote east rift zone of Kīlauea. This area is not accessible to the public. There is no lava flowing into or towards the ocean.








The Marlin Magic II is a professionally maintained 54 foot custom Allied Marine skippered by the World Famous Capt. Marlin Parker who has spent his whole life fishing the Kona Coast as well as other locations in the Pacific.

Waipiʻo Valley is a valley located in the Hamakua District of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. "Waipiʻo" means "curved water" in the Hawaiian language.
It was the capital and permanent residence of many early Hawaiian aliʻi (kings) up until the time of King ʻUmi. A place celebrated for its nioi tree (Eugenia reinwardtiana) known as the "Nioi wela o Paʻakalana" (The burning Nioi of Paʻakalana). It was the location of the ancient grass palace of the ancient kings of Hawaii with the nioi stands. Kahekili II raided Waipiʻo in the 18th century and burned the four sacred trees to the ground.







The HUNTRESS, Winner of the 2014 World Cup Marlin Tournament with a 656lb Blue Marlin, 1000 lbs less than the 1,656 lb Marlin caught on the "Black Bart" (Now the HUNTRESS) by Black Bart, the designer of the yearly World Cup T-Shirts! Fishing the Kona Coast since 1973, the HUNTRESS has been involved in some of the most exciting moments in Sportfishing history. Captained by Steve Epstein, 35 year veteran fishing in Kona, the HUNTRESS, ex BLACK BART, still continues to be among the top marlin boats in Kona. This is the Boat that caught the famous # 1,656 blue marlin, with her former owner Bart Miller in 1984.
