Thailand - khao Lak ( 813 boat , Similan Islands and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall) - Phuket ( Seashell museum and some beach photos ).

On the morning of 26 December 2004, Police Boat 813 Buretpadungkit was at anchor about 1 nautical mile off the coast of Khao Lak, where Her Royal Highness Ubonrat Rajakanya Siriwaddhana Phannawaddee was staying at the La Flora Resort with her son and daughters. When the tsunami struck, the boat was swept inland almost 2 kilometers, to where it sits today. The boat was left where it landed and is now maintained as a memorial, although there is very little around it except a sign.

The Similan Islands  is a group of islands in the Andaman Sea off the coast of, and part of, Phang Nga Province, southern Thailand. It is a national park which was established in 1982.
Similan Islands National Park was established after a one-year exploration by the forestry department. The park is an archipelago consisting of nine islands named Ko Bon, Ko Bayu, Ko Similan, Ko Payu, Ko Miang (two adjoining islands), Ko Payan, Ko Payang, and Ko Huyong. Recently, the park was expanded to include two remote islands named Ko Bon and Ko Tachai. The Similans are situated 70 kilometres from Phang Nga town. "Similan" is a Yawi word which means "nine"

Ton Chong Fa Waterfall located on the Takua Pa - Khao Lak route like Laem Pakarang.  Driving from Takua Pa town, the waterfall is on the left, a right turn and going for another 5 kms.  The cascade runs all year round and the surroundings are blissfully calm and cool under the trees' shade. The waterfall originates from the Bang Niang Canal and is a large beautiful waterfall with 5 levels.

The Phuket Sea Shell Museum exhibits a large collection of shells from around the world. But the true highlights are the emphasized collection of sought-after shells found in Thai waters and the world’s largest gold-colored pearl (measured 140 karats) as well as million-years-old fossils of ancient shells.

Estive ontem na Ilha dos Portugueses, água maningue limpa e aquele azul clarinho na zona baixa e logo a seguir o deepblue da profundidade, temperatura tipo "sopa", resultado do dia, um escaldão que nem me mexo como deve ser.
